Napa Valley is a great place to vacation . Hot air ballooning is popular here because of the beautiful view of the vineyards . Fine dining and victorian bed and breakfasts snuggled between vineyards . And of course , all of the fabulous wineries that are here. Jarvis Winery is a great place to stop and tour. V.Sattui has awesome wine and a great spot to picnic too. Don’t forget to stop at O’Brien Estate Winery for an intimate tour and tasting . Rombauer is also another great winery to go to . As far as restraunts to dine at , I would have to say Bistro Don Giovanni and the French Laundry are my two top favorites. Rutheford Grill is a great place to stop for lunch . If you’re looking for a bed and breakfast to stay at , definately stay at Cedar Gables Inn. Designed as a hunters lodge in the late 1800′s , I believe it is 4000 sq. ft . The rooms are huge ! Antique four poster beds with jacuzzis and fireplaces in each room. The rest of the house is decorated in red velvet furniture , lion back chairs , two way fireplaces . What really makes this place intriguing are the secret passages all over the inn. Some rooms have invisible doors in the walls . If you can find them , they do open to other parts of the inn . Wine and cheese hour is the best there. Innkeepers Craig and Margaret Snasdell are the funnest and nicest people I have ever met . So if you plan on coming here to Napa , I would recommend looking in to all of these great places I just blogged about. //
